In 2018, I lost my beloved dog, Daisy Mae, while she was in the care of a pet-care provider. Her death was a devastating experience and changed the way I think about caring for animals. Daisy Mae taught me that leaving a beloved dog in someone else’s care requires an enormous amount of trust. Dogs are not simply pets—they are members of our families, and they deserve to be treated with patience, attentiveness, kindness and respect. Daisy Mae’s Dog Boarding, Daycare & Grooming was created in her memory and with that belief at its heart. My commitment is to provide every dog in my care with the individual attention, responsible supervision and genuine affection that I would want for my own. Daisy Mae may no longer be with me, but her legacy lives on in every dog I care for.
